Expressive Journaling Groups

 Expressive Journaling Groups

Writing can open us up to a new form of listening. Through the writing process we hear ourselves and our stories differently and we can imagine new perspectives and possibilities. Through writing we can complete processes and clarify our own choices. In my expressive journaling groups, I use mindfulness practices to get us all in a space to allow what is true and present to arise and come through your pen. Writing in a group brings a sense of community and shared humanity- and it can be really inspiring!

Journaling to Build a Better Relationship with Your Body - 4 Wednesdays in April

Discover the transformative power of journaling in this four-session online workshop. Writing down your thoughts and feelings can reduce stress, boost your mood, and even enhance your immune function. By journaling regularly, you can better understand and manage your emotions, helping you make choices that align with the life you truly desire.  In this workshop, we will explore how journaling can strengthen your connection with your body. We will help you develop a personalized journaling plan and introduce you to structured prompts designed for emotional processing. With support and guidance, you will use these tools to tap into your body's wisdom, address critical inner voices, and cultivate gratitude and hope in your relationship with your body. You will receive journaling prompts for both in-class and at-home use, along with opportunities to share and support each other throughout the class.

Wednesdays, 4-5:15pm April 16-May 7, on zoom

This will be offered through Stanford's Healthy Living Program - registration will be available soon
